About Us

Layers of Learning was begun in 2008 with the mission of providing flexible, hands-on homeschooling curriculum for families.

The authors and founders, Karen and Michelle, are sisters, long time homeschoolers, and life-long learners. Karen has a BA in early elementary education and Michelle has a BS in biology.
