Modern History

Modern History is a hands-on curriculum that begins with the American Revolution in 1775 and proceeds to the 21st century. Living books, crafts, foldables, discussions, and timelines mark this study and will help students grasp the progression of history and their place in it.

Modern History is a complete course for ages 6 to 18. It is hands-on and family-style, meant for families to learn together. Learn more about how Layers of Learning works.

Full Modern History Course

Modern History consists of nine units, which are for all ages from 6 to 18 and can be used repeatedly, year after year. The full Modern History course contains all nine units. It can be purchased as a PDF download. Once all the units have been released it will also be available as a paperback.
