history explorations

History should always be taught in context in the right order, chronologically.  It should also always be used as a tool to learn about human nature.  Kids should be taught to look for patterns.  If people do A then the result is B.  That is what is meant by repeating history.  It is by learning these patterns that we get meaningful lessons from the past and that is the point of learning history.

One of the most important subjects you can study is government.  The government you live under affects your daily life profoundly.  So pay attention!
