Geography

Layers of Learning Geography teaches skills and concepts like landforms, time zones, map projections, populations, governments, culture, and transportation while taking kids on a tour of the countries and continents of the whole world.

Pick a course. Each course is for one school year and can be used with all of your children from 6 to 18 years.

Spine Recomendations

We recommend you buy a geography spine and an atlas to go with Layers of Learning as well as a good globe or world map. You can use the spine as your basic information or just for when you can't get to the library.  The chapters and pages to read from these spines are included in the Library List within the units.

This is the spine we recommend. It has maps and information about regions and countries.
Look for a globe that is recent and at least 12"
We recommend having a wall map and a globe, but you need at least one or the other.
