Layers of Learning Unit 2-7 begins with the history of the Normans and the invasion of 1066.  Then we learn about the English Civil Wars between Matilda and Stephen, the Scottish War of Independence, and the Hundred Years’ War.  You will love the story and determination of Joan of Arc.  After history, delve into the culture and landscape of Nigeria.  Next, study the skeletal system and learn all about bones, joints, and more.  Finish your studies with the Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer in the arts.  Every unit has activities to get your whole family exploring these topics together, creating a family-style homeschool.
